Erin Mulkewich Director of The WIP Training Center is a Director/Production Manager/Production Stage Manager/Theater Education Instructor. Since the program started in January 2015, Erin has loved watching the children progress and grow in The WIP Training Center Program and is thankful to be part of something so very special at The WIP Theater. Prior experience includes 6 years at Long Lake Camp for the Arts in Long Lake, New York as Production Manager of their Performing Arts department where Erin worked on various productions and taught several workshops to children who attended camp. Erin also started a Theater School in Granbury, Texas and ran it for 2 years until she left the company. Erin has worked for a variety of different companies in the Chicagoland area and the Midwest both with children and adults. She’s helped several of her students with college recommendation letters and feels very proud that she could be part of their journey in the Arts. Theatre has always been a part of Erin’s life. “It’s exciting watching something grow into something so wonderful. There’s a certain magic to it.”
Jeffrey is an active pianist and music director in the Chicago area. He has
worked with Fox Valley Repertory, BoHo Theatre, Big Noise Theatre, Theatre Nebula, the Annoyance Theatre, Second City-Chicago, The Performer's School, W.I.P. Theatre, among others. Jeffrey earned a master's degree in jazz piano from DePaul University.
Andrew J. Pond: moved to Chicago in 2002 from South Florida, where he had studied with the likes of Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, José Quintero, and Charles Nelson Reilly. While there, he taught and directed at both InterAct Summer camp, and the Miami Shores Theatre's summer camp. Since moving to Chicago from the tropics (for the weather), he has worked extensively as an actor, director, and playwright with several children’s theatres, is a founder of Eclectic Full Contact Theatre in Chicago, teaches drama classes for all ages at several theatre companies, is an Elvis impersonator, juggler, magician, balloon artist, plays with puppets, does Muppet voices, performs stand-up comedy, and has a degree in philosophy so he can use words like “epistemology” at parties. Otherwise, he is completely normal.
